Mindfulness Retreat

The mind can be out of control, often thinking about different problems, desires, too much stuck in the past and worrying about the future. That can eventually lead us to stress, anxiety and other help problems.

This retreat provides you with tools on how to engage the mind in beneficial activities, acquire the life skills to use mindful actions. With sessions on meditation, yoga, nature, mindfulness and other psychological techniques, you will experience stress reduction, emotional well-being, better health and vitality.

07:30 – 8:30 Energise with hatha yoga (Edvin)

09:00 – 10:00 Breakfast

11:00 – 13:00 Mindfulness based self-regulation (Ieva)

13:00 – 14:00 Lunch

14:30 – 15:30 Hiking in the forest: relax in nature

16:00 – 17:00 The mind: our friend or enemy (Syamananda)

17:30 – 18:30 Elevate your mind with sound meditation (Edvin)

18:30 – 19:30 Dinner

20:15 Optional meditation music – kirtan

 

Sunday, November 17

INSTRUCTORS

Ieva Kurmyte – retreat host, health and social psychologist, yoga instructor. Graduated from Bachelor’s Degree of Biology and Psychology, Master’s Degree of Health and Social Psychology.


Edvins Zdanovics
– yoga instructor, healthy lifestyle practitioner. He is a Yoga Alliance qualified and experienced yoga practitioner in traditional Ashtanga and Hatha yoga, meditation.

Birgit Veskioja-Vrolijk – psychologist with a Master’s degree specializing in counseling psychology. In her sessions she is using cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. www.internationalpsy.nl

Syamananda – guest speaker, president of Radhadesh temple, Irish monk practicing Bhakti yoga for 25 years. He regularly presents lectures about Bhakti philosophy and meditation.

Retreat is happening in Belgium Ardennes, nearby magnificent city of Durbuy.

The activities are and other facilities, such as accommodation, meals are located in a beautiful Chateau de Petite Somme, Radhadesh.
The spacious estate spreads over 40 acres including a special forest path with meditative verses. It is surrounded by a peaceful and beautiful nature.
